130,000 miles, too much?

Aight I have a 97 GTP with 130,000 miles on it in excellent condition (I know that doesn't matter a whole lot when it comes to the miles cuz that doesn't change the fact that that's a lot of miles but yeah). So my question is, is that too many miles to continue to mod my car with somewhat basic mods (little bit more exhaust work, smaller pulley, new intake, possibly a reprogrammed pcm in the future, etc.)? Or do I have too many miles on my car? I don't think I do seeing that I've heard people talk about their car running fine (stock) with well over 200,000 miles on it. And the car is used as a daily driver if that matters. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Also take into consideration that the first 115-120k miles were put on in only 5 years of driving so I'm guessing that they were mostly highway miles which wouldn't "hurt" the motor as much.

Although mine is not a GTP, I'm still driving mine every day and it has 333,000 miles on it. Don't know how much modding shortens the life but I'd say go for it.

333,000 miles on it? WOW. Well that's good to know that as long as I keep taking care of the car it'll last a long long time haha.

No! 130000 is not too many miles. The SC engine is strong and as long as you maintain it is should least for a long time even with the mods. I just put headers on my GTP at 145K miles.

I have a 98 GP with 251,000 miles so yours is still young!
