I got some pictures of the new stereo system and shifter boot & knob. Looks like I need a shorter shifter. :lol:

Everything took some sort fabrication but it was worth it.

yea, love the deck. kennwood makes some good shit. not a fan of the shifter though. Stock FTW...definitely gotta shorten that up al well lol. do you have to lean forward to reach 5th?

but i did see an autobot shift knob the other day and i was very close to buying it. Seriously, i was about to make my car an autobot with the symbol on the hood and everything! haha, i guess just cause i bet there arent any 3000gt autobots yet:grinyes: :eek:

Thanks! Well, that's one issue with the new stereo. It seems to be low on bass. I have pinpointed it to the head unit since I had the new speakers hooked to the stock head unit for a week before putting the new one in and they had plenty of bass. I have looked through all the settings and nothing has worked. I think that most of the low frequency is being sent to the sub channels. Usually I hate subs in cars but I think I need one here just to give me more low tone. I don't want an amp and I don't give a rats ass about SPL. I just want it to sound nice so I'm going to get and Infinity Basslink.

Bah, I like this better than the stock one and it was cheaper. And no, I don't have to lean, smart ass. :lol:
