I was replacing worn out hoses on my 2000 Chevy astro. I came across a hose that was not attached at one end. It was attached at the 'T' by the condensor in front of van. I did a little research and came across someone saying the other end goes in front of the air intake behind throttle. I found a t like shape peice with a screw at one end but couldn't get a hose though it or figure out how to attach it. Is there a trick or am I way off in putting it back. I have started replacing hoses because I have no air coming out my front vents so thought I would start there.
Thanks.
Thanks.

If you can post a picture, that would help. As for the HVAC problem, The PCV valve is located on the left rocker arm cover. On the PCV valve connector, there is a vacuum Tee with a 1/8" black, plastic line that routes across the front of the engine and connects to another vacuum tee near the A/C accumulator. The hose dries out and breaks. The HVAC system defaults to the defrost position if the system looses vacuum. Most auto parts stores have vacuum line that will fit tightly over the original line, (as a splice repair) or to the vacuum tees themselves and totally repalce the line.
