I have a '91 RS with the 305 TBI. I can get it started and keep it running with a spray bottle. Some people are telling me that when you start the car the injectors drip, but when it gets started it turns into a spray. Man, it seem like everytime I fix somethin on this car somethin else goes wrong. Does anyone have any idea whats goin on?
And if anyone knows the best brand of shocks and struts for a camaro let me know. I paid $300 for some monroe gas shocks and struts and they lasted for about a week.

Is your fuel pump working? You should be able to hear it when you turn your car on.

You want your injecotrs to spray a fine cone shaped mist, drips is bad.
So you're saying that you have to get the motor started manually feeding it gas, then it catches up and provides fuel normally?

No, I have to manually feed it to start it and keep it running. The injectors drip, so I guess thats bad. The fuel pump must be working cause I unhooked the gas line and when I did a quick hit on the switch it pumped gas.

Has anything been done recently to perhaps bring this condition on?
I'd start withthe easy and replace the filter.

All the problems started about 5 or 6 years ago after the car sat for months. Everytime I would fix one problem another would come up and the car would sit until I fixxed it. All I have done recently is change out the relay for the cooling fan then this problem started. I changed the fuel filter not long after this problem came up.

Check your injector fuses. Then it is one of the following...bad injectors, bad fuel pressure regulstor, bad ignition module (not sending ref pulse to ECM so it will turn on injectors) bad wire from distributor to ECM ref pulse input, bad ECM, bad injector driver in ECM, bad ground for injectors, plugged fuel line up by or in TB unit.

I'll bet it's the fuse on the fender by the battery, f/p ecm
