I have a salvaged 07 Vue with airbags blown. The driver side and both curtains are deployed. Also both seatbelts are locked, I am assuming due to the pretensioner activation.
Other than the air bag and control module for the front do I need anything else to fix this?
Also do I need new seat belts or this is repairable with a module replacement?
Thanks for any info.

On many cars there is a 'clock-spring' inside the top of the steering column. This is what carries the current for the airbag deployment, from the motionless column, to the rotatable steering shaft. The manual recommends replacing the clockspring after a deployment.
I hope someone who knows about seat belts will answer that question.

you have to repace pass and driver air bags.both seat belts.both will lock on impact.both pretensioners.steering coloumn.on impact steering coloumn is made to collapse on impact.also sdm(sensing and diagnostic module)will need to be replaced and reprogrammed.

These questions are asked and answered wrong all the time. Thre are specific items that are required replacement items when a deployment occurs, and ther are some items that are "check only". Check out this website for the EXACT answers to your questions. this site tells you exactly what needs to be replaced (seat belts & all) after a deployment on over 3500 cars
