Yet another tranny problem thread...

If you recall, I blew my tranny up back in May and got a rebuilt on installed with new clutch and all. It's made noises, but now it seems to be making more noises. The sound is comparable to a washer machine. It sounds like there's something almost floating around in the tranny. I've had no problems with shifting or the clutch. I'm going to drain out the fluid and see if there's metal in it. I found my receipt but it doesn't say how long the warranty was, but I think it was only 6 months. If there is metal or something in it... well I don't want to go there.
I still have the same problem when I'm starting out in first gear at low rpm, the car shakes and feels like slipage, but I think that's unrelated; happened before new tranny also.

David - You seem to have a lot of problems no one knows the answers to...
Let know what happens when you drain the oil.

Well let me expand on the clutch issue. When I fill the reservoir up, it works better. It doesn't get low, but it drops just a little. I fill up just a little and then it's fine. Sound like master/slave issue?
I don't want to drain the tranny. But no choice I guess. I mean it runs perfectly though. I would imagine if something broke (don't know how) that there would be an issue with running.

Thats odd, it has to be something with your hydrolics then, or thats at least part of the problem. Maybe bleed the slave cylinder.

What I should do for that problem is just take the whole clutch system apart, clean it all up and redo everything. When I did the spring remover mod I noticed that everything was pretty dirty inside which caught me off guard.

That couldn't hurt.
