Folding Seats?

Does any year of LeSabre have folding rear seatbacks? That would be a reason for me to upgrade to a more recent model year...and OBDII could be nice (though the 02 sensor addition is not).

Here's a dumb question while I'm here--how far up did the intake manifold problems go on lesabre model years? I know the late 90s had the problem, but I was in my little 1992 bubble, so I've been kinda oblivious--do year 2000+ models still have it?

I don't know of any LeSabre that had folding rear seats; certainly my 2000 does not have them. It does have roughly an 8 inch x 8 inch hatch which opens in to the trunk. I was able to bring home several 8 foot 2x4s loaded into the trunk and slide them through into the passenger compartment, and was able to close the trunk. My Lucerne has the same feature.

As for the intake manifold problems, I stand to be corrected, but I believe all 3800 Series II could potentially have the problem. My 2000, with the Series II
has over 130,000 miles and no problems. I really don't think it is a much of an issue we are lead to believe. Lots of high mileage 3800 engines have not had manifold problems.

The Lucerne has the 3800 Series III, and I believe the Series III has metal replacing the plastic part. Not sure what year the Series III came into existence, but 2004/5 comes to mind. Again, someone more knowledgeable on the subject make correct this statement.

There's a folding panel in the rear seat which gives access to the trunk? Though it is only 64 square inches, that's still pretty convenient, and something that I wanted in my 92, but didn't get. Wikipedia says that the lesabre had folding seats from the 92 limited on up...wikipedia is wrong :(

The 3800 had intake problems from about 1994 to 1998
