Hello,
I have 170,000 miles on my 02 and it is in need of shocks, brakes, and I need to take it in for what sounds like a loose front end when i hit uneven bumps.
I was wondeirng if it is simple enough to do the shocks on my own?
thanks
Rick

Welcome to AF, the noise in the front is probably the sway bar links, very common these trucks.

I've replaced the shocks and struts on my 04 with 50k. No problems, just borrowed the coil spring compressor at AutoZone for the front. Fairly simple job.
