idle problems

1997 blazer idles too fast,1000 RPM in park. 2000 rpm in drive. I have changed the idle sensor and the MAF sensor. Also installed a new throttle body seal. Problem still there. HELP! (310,000) on engine.

Does the Service Engine Soon (SES) light work? If it does, what are the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's) in memory?

Does the SES light come on when the key is turned to the RUN position and go off after the engine is running?
