I have an 1993 F250 with 5.8L. I'm getting false cues that the tank is out of gas and the truck chugs. Switch tanks and it runs ok for a while then happens again. Switch back and I'm ok for a while. I changed the filters and still have the problem. ???

I have a 1992 F150 with duel tanks and when I use the rear tank the idle goes rough by that I mean stall then run, but when I switch to the front tank the problem diminishes a little but still does it. The truck runs well enough useing the first tank but I would like to have use of the second tank as well. I did replace the fuel pump in the second tank and there was no diffrence. Please help.....
