I apologized if that has been posted already. I searched and could not find a problem quite the same as mine. I have been having several problems with my 2002 GP. It started this spring where the Heater and A/C would both only work if on five. Eventually it would only work every now and then and now it will not work at all. It sounds like the fan and compressor are coming on just nothing will blow. Around the same time it stopped working all together my passenger headlight went out. I replaced it and it worked for about a month and then it went out again along with the passenger fog light. I have not bothered to replace them because I have a feeling they would go out again. Also through this and the heater not working my windows (especially the sunroof) will intermittently work. I saw similar posts that pointed to this: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=653340 (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=653340) and wondered if anyone thought that would fix my problem? I want to avoid the dealership because I know they will just screw me over. I have someone who can fix it if I can just tell them exactly what it is. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks! P.S. I have checked all fuses inside and under the hood.

Welcome to AF!!

First of all the problem with the fan is the blower motor resistor that is located next to the fan up under the dash. It is about a $45 dollar part at the dealer. Once you replace it the fan should operate properly. As for the lights blowing out and the sunroof not working properly check the grounds to each to make sure that they are good and look for a short somewhere. Also replacing the blower resistor may eliminate the problem altogether as the resistor can cause other issues. Start with that before replacing the ignition switch.

I would say with your combination of odd symptoms, it could be the ignition harness mentioned in that link. If you have any other electrical gremlins like the DIC blinking/flashing, instrument panel lights dimming, etc... then I'd say its definitely the issue. I will assume on the light issues that the lenses on the passenger side are not cracked/broken and there is no evidence of moisteure getting inside the housing, correct?
