97 Malibu gas mileage

Hey guys, got a simple question for you malibu owners.... Im looking to buy a 97 malibu, 4 cylinder (quad 4) automatic, with 102,xxx miles. What could I expect for gas mileage? Thanks!

You should get pretty good gas mileage. My daughter has a 1997 6 cyl with 123,000 on it and she still gets about 26-28 mpg just driving it back and forth to school (25 miles one way) and bumming around town.
