Steering wheel removal

90 6000 le. Need to remove the steering wheel to replace the cruise control arm. Do I pull back the center rubber horn button piece on the steering wheel? I just don't want to wreck anything if this is incorrect. Thanks.

You dont have to pull the wheel for this. Just pull out on the CC lever it will come out. Then you have to fish the CC wires through the column. That is the tricky part.
