I've never installed an amp in a Century, but I have installed and trailed 4 gauge cable through the firewall in my park ave. Instead of searching for an existing opening, I just drimmelled a hole through a plastic wire harness retainer that is bolted to the firewall. Your Century may have this same device on the firewall. It's on the passenger side, the same side as the battery, so it was a straight shot with not big corners to worry about. This retainer is covered in a black protective putty-like susbstance to protect the wires from moisture and vibration, but it peels right off easily. There are several wires going through the plastic, but there was a space on the side large enough to drill a 1/2 in. hole to feed the large cable through. Once I got the hole drilled out, I fed the the cable in about 2 feet or so, and removed the glovebox and bottom kick panel under the dash, looked inside with a flashlight (it's dark inside there even during the day) and when I found the cable way in there, it was a simple matter of pulling it through. The black putty easily covers right back over the retainer, and you're left with a good, clean, OEM appearance! This may be the most difficult and/ or time consuming part of the install.

what i did on my 91 century is i put a 4 guage power wire from the positive post to the trunk. to do this i went to the hood first taped on end of the 4 guage to a clothes hanger or anything long and flexible like that, and pushed it through the firewall on the drivers side where the other wires go through. pretty easy once you work it a little bit, then come in the car get under the dash and find the wire and pull it in, then untape it and run it to the trunk :) thats how i put my two 15" subs in there. feel free to email me if you got Questions. :loser:
