The pro comp lift is a good kit for the nbs trucks. I was thinking of doing the same on mine until i bought my 83 sierra and now all my money is going into it. Are you looking at the knuckle kit or the full drop kit? If you want to run factory rims then you have to get the full drop kit. It is a bit more expensive but much worth it because it drops your differential down the full 6" therefore giving you better cv angles and a nicer ride.

Yes the tires will fit on your factory rims but you have to look around for a place to put them on because not everyone is willing to put a 12.5" wide tire on a 7" rim but it can be done. I ran 315/75/16 which is 35x12.5x16 on my factory rims for sometime and it was fine. I'm actually putting them back on my stock rims for the winter.

The best lift out there for the nbs trucks is probably cognito which is a 7-9" lift. It is very pricey tho.

WERD UP on the Cognito.... Def. more spendy but worth every penny... One thing to consider with lifts... Full drops do drop the front diff the full amount (Cognito and Fabtech (i think) do as well. But with full drops they dont keep alignment as well as knuckle kits... I have had my cognito on for almost 2 years now and still tracks straight. And I believe knuckle kits are stronger. When I replace my half ton with a 3/4 ton another Cognito is going on.

just my opinion...but if you're spending money on a lift kit & 35's....i would buy wider wheels with the correct backspacing....
