I am trying to up-grade from factory radio to new cd radio. I need help figuring out what the wires are coming out of the dash and what to hook them up too. I figured out which ones are speaker wires, but what the hell are the other wires ???:banghead:

you might want to check the GM or oldsmobile forums, that might have a better idea of wiring schemes ......

all you need is the speakers, and then constant, ignition, and ground... i believe the olds came with a dimmer(orange on the CD player) and optional steering wheel controls... you don't need those, so yeah... hope that helps

wiht the proper adapter they come with a wireing guide. after that tis just plug and play. unless you CUT the plugs off which is a bad move if you wver want to take it back to stock or another owner does.

you should only cut the plugs off if you are going to make it a custom show car

And even then I wouldn't cut off the plugs!
