Another great NNL in the history books! We had a blast as usual putting on the show. Thanks to all of our guests and vendors who attended, many who travel a great distance from all over the US to join us. It is you who really make the show what it is. Thanks again to all ACME members who do such a fine job of making this the best show possible for all of our guests and vendors who continually tell us how great they feel the show is. It's an honor to be an ACME member and part of a group who do so much for everyone else. That's what this hobby is all about. Themes were "Diamonds" and "Gold" to celebrate any models from 1932 and 1957. The web theme was "LeMans". There were quite a number of A/F groupies in attendance, a couple who won awards :sunglasse

It was an excellent show, and great hospitality. Thanks to all of those who came to help put on such a great show with your models. I'm ready to get back to building now! :runaround:

Pretty, pretty cars.
Wish I was there. The thing I always wonder when looking at those pictures...
What if somebody's really clumsy and falls over a table, knocking those models to the floor. Would he/she get killed?

Yes.
Good question actually. Our tables are raised up by about 18" with tubular PVC pipe risers to make them much higher than normal, mainly to make it easier to view the models w/o having to bend over so much, and high enough that small children can't easily touch them. The tables are also taped together w/duct tape, so the tables are very sturdy and it would take a lot more than one person falling to knock a table over because the entire row of tables are attached to each other. So far we've avoided any catastrophes.

Knock on wood.
Thanks for the answer and I hope to be able to attend once to that show.

Thanks for getting my screen name right, Mike.
It was a great show, as usual, with alot of comraderie. Those of you who are considering coming to this show, I can assure you, you wont be dissappointed.
I would like to thank Henry Trent, Bob Downie (zoom zoom), and all the others that made not only this show possible, but also the model show at the previous weekend's Porsche Rennsport Reunion. Two great model shows back to back!

Thank you so much for posting the link and info for that show! I enjoyed all 300 plus pictures. Made me look into local chapters of IPMS here in Colorado as I have always wanted to attend a show such as this. Great deal of info learned, thanks.
