Duramax Problems

Hello there, I have a 2001 2500HD with a duramax. I start it in the morning it will run for about 10-15 seconds then quits. So, I changed the fuel filter, that worked for about two days then back to the same thing. Does anybody have any ideas. After it quits I have to prime it to get it to start again.

Does it run if you keep gas to it?
If so, it may be the IAC unit.

I don't know I don't like to rev it up when it is cold. But, I will try it tomorrow morning.
