body mounts

I am currently getting my 1983 chevy caprice painted.

I then realised that the front body mounts were completely rotted and had fallen out, the bolts themselves are rusted up and unusable. The entire front end of the car is out of alignment with the frame (The frame is straight and solid) when I drive around a corner, I can hear the fan hitting against the shroud as thebody shifts on its rotten front mounts. Is there a good aftermarket source for a set urethane or even rubber mounts for the 1980's box style chevy?

energy suspension only supplies mounts for 66-70 and 90-96 model years. Would any of these mounts work on an '83?
Any advice appreciated !

The '90-'96 will. The '90 is a boxy like yours.

The mounts were the same from '77-'96.

There should be 8 of them on your car - 4 under the passenger compartment and 2 on each end.

Note when purchasing: Urethane mounts will last practically forever but will take away from the soft ride a little bit, where rubber mounts will last a good 20+ years but will also help to absorb road vibration better than urethane will.

The later factory mounts are a fairly high durometer rated rubber, not much softer than many urethanes. The factory bushings are no bargain, either, at about $11 apiece for various thicknesses (and there are several thicknesses).

I live in The Bahamas and have had no luck obtaining the OEM rubber bushings from both The local GM dealer and other parts stores such as NAPA, although NAPA does have the part listed. So barring a trip stateside, I have to source the bushings over the internet, if anyone else knows somewhere else to find the original rubber bushings, please let me know.
