To those who own either of these two models, how are the qualities and which one would you recommend? I personally leaning toward the blue one.

The black one ain't too bad but be prepared to do some work to get the body kit to fit right:) I still recommend it because it's a challenge and it's diferent from the "usual" Tamiya kit. {although I have that one as well!;) )

I am working on the blue skyline 25GT and it is quite detailed and the side bodykits are nice... but the interior (the door from the inside) was not modded so it is not so detail about the interior. But overaw it is quite a good kit!!! The black skyline i dunno about it!:D

I built the one on the bottom, it's an alright kit but no Fujimi Skyline looks as good as Tamiya's when it comes to the shape of the body.

I'll second that. Ihave both the Tamiya and Fujimi R33 kits and the Fujimi is a different shape....longer and the height is different :(

Yah, I kinda suspected that. The only reason I'm considering the Fujimis are the body kits.

Tonionseven, you've built the black one no? What's your comment on it...

The proportions are a bit different but It's not a bad kit overall; I just got tired of seeing the same kit being done over and over and wanted to do something different. I easily recommend this kit because it's out of the norm due to the body kit. Quality-wise it's typical Fujimi but all it takes is a little patience!:) Make sure you lower the front end a little and replace the puny wheels that come with it with some 18" wheels  :)http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/517776teinr34-2.jpg

It has "puny" wheels? Aaaww shucks

I guess I'll get the black one eventually. Fujimi's kits are starting to grow on me
