Tensioner pulley 92 GP 3.1

The tensioner pulley popped out on my son's 92 GP 3.1, is there any instructions on how to slide the casing and spring back into the slotted hole? Do you need a special tool?

I found out the problem If you see the spring that means its broken You need a whole new pulley tensioner which is easy to put on.
