I was wondering if anyone would be intrested in like a online event, like showing off your models online for comptition... lol which we already have like a couple already. But this event will be in categories.. so its a fair comptition. A site will be created for it. This event is just like going to a real model car show but online instead. Yes there will be prize to give away.
i just wanna feed back of this idea.... if most people agree i'll start getting into details

That's how "hot-import-nights" does it, in categories, we can't just put a revell street up agianst a tamiya race car now can we? These are categories I taught up in my head:
Tamiya engine detail
Tamiya curbside
revell
curbside
fully modified
Box stock shouldent be a category because you can enter a box stock car in any one of my mentioned categories exept "fully modified"
What do ya think PRojex???

I voted no.
I guess there are already some on-line modeling contests around and a cyber contest is still not a match for the real life one.
Although I entered a model in our contest here, but that is to support the forum. Which brings me to the reason why I enter in model contests. It's not for the contest itself, but for supporting the organiser. So if there's a good reason to support the initiative, then my no would be a yes.
Makes sense?

:licker: i feel that it will be a good idea, but just as long as it isnt a forum, thatll just be taking people away from the almighty AF:devil:

Did not vote but just wondering, he who has the best photography skills might win over a great modeler who has poor skills taking a picture.

I voted no, there are already many online contest. It's an interesting idea, I would like to see one that is exclusive to cars other than American.

This is a keen observation too, judging a model online is like choosing that girl at 2am in the pub, while viewing her through beer goggles!

Never thought of that.I have improved a lot since joing this forum but my camera sucks for close ups.
