Electrical problem

This started after installed a power trunk release actuator, which works fine but now my left tail lights arent working right, the left turn signal wont flash and the light in the middle on the left side is bright as if the brake is pressed. the tail lamp fuse keeps blowing too. i did the trunk release install carefully and made sure i did not interrupt any other wiring. btw i plugged the trunk actuator to one of the aux inputs on the fuse box, i even tried unplugging it to see if it would do anything but the left tailights are still not working right. im very novice when it comes to electrical stuff... :banghead:

Edit - I seemed to have fixed the problem so everything is back to normal, but i notice the flashers blink randomly, sometimes fast and sometimes slow...

The fast/slow blink rate might have to do with a blown bulb, that's not fully blown - i.e., the filament is loose on one side, but makes random contact.
Replace the bulbs and see if that helps.

ohh ok, i did replace all the tailight bulbs with fresh new ones, maybe they werent put in all the way because the sockets are so gunked up with that bulb grease. has anyone found an effective way of cleaning all that gunk out also?

You want that gunk. It keeps things from corroding up in there.
