04 GTP Comp G - Borla exhaust anyone?

I've done some light modding recently, time to get ready for the next upgrade. I am running a 3.5" pulley, K&N CAI, 180 thermo, NGK TR6 plugs, ZZP 1.0 PCM and had everything flushed so it's run like new again. I am looking at doing the exhaust next, and possibly beyond.
I was wondering if anyone has seen a ZZP Powerlog/Ported Manifold / ZZP 3.0 Downpipe with the Borla Cat-Back exhaust in action? I'm wondering what kind of power I'd expect, or, what kind of sound would generate from the setup. The ZZP downpipe will remove the U Bend, and I know I'll need an O2 extension.
I'm looking for suggestions. The budget is $1500, so I know it'll cover doing all of the above, and possibly more. I don't want a tin-can sound, or a tuner pitch. Looking for a nice grumble that's not overwhelming!
Thanks a lot guys! Your advice is important, since you're all GP owners/lovers. Cheers!
Oh, and if comparing exhausts, I've found that Borla setup for $800 shipped (U.S. of course).

From what I hear, more people are happy with the GMPP Exhaust system for the previous gen GP's. All it requires is the moving of a hanger or 2. I think that sytem can be bought for ~$600.

Is that GM part # 12498617 ?

Thanks.. It says it's a 2.5" pipe, I thought a 3" was the best way to go if more mods are going to be done.
Thanks!

Yup that's it, but if you want 3", Borla won't help, it's only 2.5" also. The only 3 inch I know is ZZP's, but then again, I may be wrong.
Most people go with a 2.5 catback and a 3" downpipe, not too many running actual 3" all the way.

Well, that's good to know. I didn't want to order all this stuff and realize it wasn't going to work that well.
If I choose this;
ZZP downpipes (http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=551)
Model:3 inch 304 weld in With Cat
Option 2:Add rear O2 extension for 04+
Option 3:none selected
Option 4:I'm keeping my stock DP
Do I need any other gaskets? I've never done exhaust work myself. So far I am aware that I'll need the O2 harness/extension, but above and beyond that, I am not too sure! As far as I can tell, this downpipe will let me work with just about anything out there at this point too. Either the GMPP or Borla, Corsa, etc?
Thanks!

Honestly, I'm not sure if you will need gaskets. You could always email ZZP and ask, they'll be honest with you.

Hey Bricker, thanks for all the help. Can you email me some pics of your car? It looks pretty sweet from your sig! If so, send 'em to [email protected]
I'm interested in whatever you have.. inside/out. Thanks!
Oh, I'll also email ZZP and find out a little more =)
