Free from my local hobby shop its a 1:20 1957 Cadillac convertible its molded in Acetate and its extremely old some kid smashed the window pillars in and then he broke them off. i dont know what to do with it yet

Keep it in your closet and auction off on ebay after a couple of years, that's what I would do:rolleyes:

I just got a Aoshima Nissan R32 2500 GTS for hkd49=>usd6.28. It is a very good kit, although the sticker is yellowish

$5 for PIAA Accord:)

$0.50 (CDN) for a Revell Snaptite Boss Mustang.

2.5 Euro for a Revell Golf GTI Mk1 ( +/- 2.5 US$)

3$ for a peugeot 905
and 2$ for a very nice jet

mine... an $8 (CDN) toyota bB sealed and no damage what so ever.:cool:

68 Dodge Dart for $3 at Wal-Mart on clearence. Other than that would be the half off all models at a local Hobby Lobby a couble of months back, I got about 10 models and only spend about $50 bucks for the lot!

A Fujimi Ferrari 330P4 for 1$ from a department store sale. I was about 10 years old back then so it hasn't been built too well, but fortunately looks like it's not too difficult to strip down for a re-build.

I also bought a couple of years ago a bunch of Fujimi Enthusiast kits for $15 each including a Dino 246GT and a Daytona GTB. Now I'm kicking myself because I should have bought all the Ferraris they had(there were several Daytonas, Dinos and 288GTO:s).

the cheapes model ive gotten was a 1967 chevrolet impala from some girl who was moving didnt want it.. (yard Sale) i paied 25cents for it but havent touched it yet

I received a free Tamiya Supra (24123) from my dealler as a gift becose I was a good buyer :bigthumb:

1.00 for a 1993 Corvette 40th Ann. ZR-1, still sealed.:biggrin:

bought it for a friend at that... we thought it was 15$ cause the sticker on it said 14.99 or something... but when they scanned it it came out to be like 4.52$... good price

Normally cheap? I have yet to see a Revell ITR for less than $25 CAD. I get Tamiya kits for $35-$40 (racing) and some of the older street car kits for $22-$27.

UMM, im gonna have to say the cheapest kit ive ever bought is the Revell ITR at walmart, I DONT EVER GET TO BUY MODELS ON SELL ANY WHERE:(

The most ive paid is like $40 for the Tamiya Porcha 911 GT3, at a Hobbytown USA an hour from my house, i went home, friend came over, drove around, went to local hobby show that usually OVER CHARGES LIKE ITS GOING OUT OF STYLE, had it for $30:(

tamiya honda s-mx lowdonw for 6€ & fujimi mercedes 190e evolution 2 boss livery 5€ :)

Got a Gunze Sangyo Porsche 959 Rothmans for $.99 off a sale table.
The same hobby shop sold open returned kits for between .75 and 3.00,
some were trash, most were at least good for parts and there were some real gems. I got 2 Fujimi EM series Lambos for $2.25 each and ended up with enough good stuff to build 1 complete car.

Two Tamiya New Beetles for less than $5 ea...

And, my Bro-in-law gave me a half dozen open/started kits, but that really doesn't count.

$5 at walmart for alot of kits. AMT has these series of cheap kits. They come in a gold checkered flag style box. They're just as good when the first introduced them for $10 or so. They sell them for $5 since they're old kits i guess. I have their Charger, Duster,and some other things i prolly forgot. :rolleyes:

i bought 3 chevy impalas:$2 '67 ss, $3 '63 stock, $2 64 ss o ya and 65 CENTS for a tamiya supra still in my closet waiting to be finished

on September 11, 2001 I went into my hobby shop and the owner had a banged-up box of a Tamiya Supra (stock model) under the counter. It was damaged during shipping to him. The only problem was there was a huge crack on the door. I was like like...ehh I'll give u $5 and I can fix it. SOLD. I ended up calling Tamiya and and brand new Body was at my front door that week! So yea, cheapest kit and on a memorable date.

eheh you got lucky on the day that 50,000 people and their families didnt....
