S2000 SAS bodykit and primer

What do you think. Is it better to use special resin primer before spraying bodykit with Tamiya primer ? Are there any problems with paint on resin parts sprayed with Tamiya primer ? I don`t want to make another paintjob if anything goes wrong:) What`s your suggestion.

Tamiya primer is entirely sufficient over both resin and plastic. You won't need to use anything else to supplement it.

Tamiya primer is more than sufficient, the key part to painting resin is to make sure you completely remove all the mold release agent by properly preparing the part for painting.
