Edited so I dont look like a moron. 2.3 I can see where your comming from. I have dug for about ten minutes now and all I can find is aftermarket BOV sound clips. There are a hell of alot of threads about people looking for 1g BOV sound clips.

I love the way the 1g bov sounds. I usually don't run it like that due to the fact that I get like 4 CEL's. But every now and then it's fun to run down the street with it open to atmosphere. The video doesn't do much for the sound. You really have to drive it and hear it, but this may give you sort of an idea of what it sounds like. Most other BOV's have a different pitch to them. The 1g just sounds like a large burst of air.

Mine sounded nothing like that. Mine didn't sound that low. Maybe just cause you didn't have much boost built up.

wow I gotta say ths hks ssqv did not impress me at all. IMO the Greddy ftw.

I have been very pleased with it mechanically and astheticaly. Also, it makes a terrific sound. Although, it is quit pricy.

Does anyone that runs the type-s BOV have the lower port hooked up to an intercooler pipe. This thread made me realize what that nipple was there for. I hooked it up yesterday to the compressor housing and it made it release a good bit faster. Just wondering if anyone else ran their bov this way.

ok lets strat with the first question yes i got my other bov crushed and it worked otut great:grinyes: but i never got the cash yet and we think that it is a wiring issue seeing how the pump works. theres just no power going to it .
ok now a question of my own wat types of bovs do u guy's recomend i was thinking of a tail 50mm bov and a tail 48mm waste gate with a set of tubular headers lol but i have a fmic piping set that i could put a GReddy type S on or a HKS sequencial but im not sure help me out lol

Crushed 1g or greddy type-Rs FTW. I like the sound of both, and although I have never had the chance to play around with a 1g BOV I have heard some good things. But the Type-RS I have has great response, no leaking, and sounds awsome. And have I said it looks great?

You could put any bov you want on there as long as you have the flange for it. That bov is very expensive.

How about an OEM Evo IX DV/BOV? They hold boost pretty good until ~24/25 psi on the stock turbo.

dunno never heard a stock evo bov lol (all the evo's ive heard were heavely modded lol) and ya the godzilla is a really expensize bov but it is like the best bov out there so i geuss its wat ur willing to pay lol oh and the reson i asked if a godzilla would fit a talon was cause i have only seen them on supras and RX-7's

What kind of boost you thinkin about pushing? I think I may have asked you before but I dont remember if you haqd answered or not. The godzilla may be overkill in many situations. Until I heard one I wouldnt recomend it,

:eek2: Why on earth would you spend that much on a BOV? Just get a Greddy or HKS one. And put the rest of that money toward something else.

That may be one of the best examples of overly excessive I have ever seen. 450? The greddy rs is like 180. Thats almost 300 to put into you car. Not worth it!
