For those of you who own a 2002 TrailBlazer that shuts down while at high speeds and will not respond to the accelerator being pushed to the floor or it starts to buck and sounds like a train, you need to have your PCM (Power Control Module) REPLACED!
We had this problem for 2-4 months back in 2003. I was able to at the time discuss the problem with 1 of the vehicle engineers in Michigan, and he had the dealership replace the module and it has been fine since.
I found this forum just last evening when I was curious about how the spark plugs are changed. I just had the vehicle serviced and could not understand how the plugs were changed and none of the dust was disturbed on the plastic covers on the top of the engine.
Thanks to whoever figured out that the hood was the Squeak!
