hey i havnt been on here before but i thought some of you guys might want some polycarbonate windows for some of your cars. let me know what you want and i can probably get it done. they are much lighter and more durable than normal glass windows. they also dont scratch or anything like that. thanks alot guys....

hahaha. nice try. they do scratch, and at high speeds are noisy and tend to bow inwards because they are flexible. and they arent legal in any state.

polycarbonate does not scratch easy, acrylic does... nice try though. and at high speeds they are noisy if you dont do a correct install...

whats a correct install? use sheet metal on the inside? ive used lexan windows before. correctly installed. they are noisy and they do scratch. shit my glasses are made of polycarbonate and are scratched to hell. plus, as i said before, lexan windows are not legal for any car driven on any public road. inform buyers next time of what they are getting them selves into.

actually lexan is a brand of plastics... so you could have had many different varietys of plastic. and as for the instal it needs to be done like a normal window. not just with screws like most people do. i know they are not legal. who cares. no one runs legal performance cars. this is on a skyline forum. most skylines are not fully legal unless the are r33's because they are the only ones that have legally been crash tested. where i live you cant even put a muffler tip on a car and still be legal. so it is not relevent
