I posted yesterday and thought I had the problem fixed, I was wrong. I have a 2002 G.A. GT. 3.4 L with 93,000 miles. when driving after about 20 mph. if you try to accelerate it has no power and sounds funny. I replaced the Idle air sensor (because the housing was cracked), the throttle position sensor and it was still doing it so I took it to a local shop and the hooked to the com and said it was the mass air flow sensor. Well they were wrong. it is a little better but still runs terrible. I also took it to the exhaust shop in town to have him look at it he checked inlet and outlet temps and he said they were in the range they should be. What do I do know ?? this has me boggled and ready to throw a match on it. thanks in advance for any input

Hi tcorb99,
check the wires for the IAT and the MAF sensor.
These wires can get broken and make intermitant contacts causing all sorts of problems, they are realy short is what usualy causes this.

When you say Idle air sensor , you mean the idle air control on the side of the TB??

If so was the port clean and open ??

ps you realy didn't need to start a new thread..... but we'll let it slide. :D

Also those parts could have been tested befopre replacing!!
