I was given a 1985 Corvette Bare block. I want to build it somewhat. Can it be treated as a general 350 Chevrolet motor? Far as bolt on parts, do they have to be corvette specific? Or will 350 parts bolt up. Hope i explained my thoughts clear as mud. Please, anyone with knowledge on this bail me out!! Thanks guys.

a 350 is a 350, difference between cars is tuning, cam, intakes, sometimes heads and so on. what where you looking to do?

Hey 16th Hippy! I am planning on building a street 383 stroker out of a chevy 350. I was never "familiar" with anything "corvette". I was not sure if there is something really unique or radical about a vette 350 block. I am concerned about the general bolt up of speed parts, following a 350 chevrolet availability. Like tons of parts cheap and available for, chevy 350's. So, if i understand right, 350 block is a 350 block, and 350 parts is 350 parts? And when ya bolt it all together, the bolt holes do line up!! HEE HEE! Am i sorta correct here? Thank you VERY much for responding. I just knew somebody had the answer. Later guys.
