Hey its. Been a long time since my last post but I need help I have an 86 camaro that's blown with a 671 and I have true dual 2.5 off the headers which are of the shorty variety which scrapes around rough roads I have both of the pipes run where the stock exhaust went to 2 mufflers then out to the passenger tire like a stock car the problem with this setup is that the competion engineering frame connectors run right thru where my exhaust goes. I was considering oval tubing down the center of the car. but does anyone have any cool ideas I need a ton of exhaust flow. This car is a street car not really a drag car but moroso is putting my cage in and want the connectors in. I want the car to hit low 10's and i need all the help i can get.

an idea i toyed with for a while, but never really took that seriously was getting a set of used nascar side exit pipes. or "boom tubes". you can find them at www.musclemotorsports.com, or at least you used to be able to. they are designed for low clearance and high flow obviously. depending on how it looks under the car, you can get a setup that has a pipe for each side, or they have the side exit pipe that both banks of cylenders feed into.

other than that, oval tubing tucked up in the driveshaft tunnel might work, although im not sure how id feel about it. thats alot of heat to tuck right up against the tranny and driveshaft, especially if youve upgraded to the aluminum one.

then theres always the sled pulling style pipes routed up through two big holes in the hood :evillol: throw a set of sparkplugs in the exhaust pipes, and rig up a flamethrower setup, could be fun. assuming you wont be driving on the street anyway.
