1996 aurora motor conversion

Hi, New to this site so bare with me on this. I've got a 96 aurora with 154,000 on it and now has a bad head gasket. I'm trying to find out if what later year 4.0l model engines will work in this body. I know the 95's won't. I did find an 01 but know know if it will work. Also will consider the 4.6l as an option if the price is right. Thanks again for your input. Chad

I have a 1998 engine in my 1996 aurora , no probs but it has to be a complete engine as the inlet manifold and such are different.

The 4.6l, I understand is to big to fit
