New Gauges. Whew.

During the Summer I decided I was going to add red accent lighting to the interior of my Cavalier. So I put in red neon tubes under the dash in the summer. Easy job there. So that held me over for a little while. Then I thought, I need my Gauges and HVAC red too to match naturally. So a week ago I was searching the forum and found the thread about changing all the LEDs in your gauges. I was pleased until I read the 2000+ gauges wouldn't have a simple light bulb swap. :shakehead But I ordered 2 red LEDs for my HVAC from that thread. Then I thought, Pontiac cars ALWAYS have red dash lights, and this was my answer. Sunfire. Searched ebay and found a brand new, unused cluster from a 2000 Sunfire. Bingo. So now, after much aggrivation pulling my dash apart (yes it was my first time), I have my Sunfire cluster and LEDs in my HVAC. I am quite pleased with it, Tell me whatcha think.

My CEL always came on when I was in ACC, which I was in in that picture so its fine. Here's a picture when the car is running. No CE light.

Haha, I know kind of odd. But it said they were unused and had 0 miles on them and when I got them there were absolutely no signs of wear or anything. Lucky find. :iceslolan
