Accelerator Cable

Hey, I have a stretched accelerator cable on my 93 Celica GT, and I can't find a replacement one anywhere in my town, other than the Toyota dealership, but they would charge $103.50 so I'm trying to find a cheaper place.

Would it matter a whole lot if I used one of the same size from a Corolla or Tercel maybe?

Yes you should be able to as long as they are the same size and all theres really no reason why it shouldn't work. Im supprized though that none of the auto parts stores around you have them. Have you just tried autozone or advanced auto, if youve just tried these kind of places I would try somewhere like koi auto parts, try a higher end place. I had a problem where autozone didnt carry a seal kit for my injectors but koi did.
