Yet my car is not as ricey as it used to be, the fake bullet holes and jap lettering have dissapered.

And the SIR sticker is actually there because my LX emblem was stolen amd there are holes behind the lx emblem, so I dont want water going into the trunk, anyway it will be gone as soon as I get either another LX emblem, or a 6th gen 'CIVIC' emblem cause those are cool also. I also had apc stickers for a while, but they are gone cause the A fell off one of em.

Little Burner: Your car is really tight, and the altezzas compliment the paint quite nicely, it almost looks like johnnym's car. Im glad to see someone else on the board running the SOHC ZC, although you got MPFI which is a plus.

you're happy about the sohc zc...well I'm happy you have a sedan cuz theres noone that runs sedans around here...I think I can get you a 6th gen civic emblem too.....you just pay shipping

isnt the LX just kinda glued on, the DX on my old fourdoor didnt have holes behind it just that sticky shit

I had holes behind my dx emblem. I just replaced it with a 6th gen civic emblem in white and faux carbon fiber...hahaha...my other rice mod;)

there are holes behind the civic model badges???

i know the honda emblem has holes (since mine was jacked)

i thought the model badges were just held on by an adhesive... :confused:

I think the sedan and hatch/crx are different.

You got any pics of yours? Im kinda curious to see what it looks like.

Yes, the hatch and sedan are different, cause I know 88CiViC_DX took all his off, and the only reason you can tell he used to have emblems is cause his paint is all faded. The badges are also held on by an adhesive in addition to the plugs in the holes.

Someone also jacked both my honda emblems which explains the yellow ones. If I ever get my car repainted (which I may do cause the clear coat is starting to go on the roof) I will shave all the emblems, and take the 'civic' emblem off the taillights.

The main reason this thread was made was cause I really liked littleburners car and thought it was fucked up that siz didnt shut up after a little while.

Thanks man, I actually need to clean & lube it today cause I went on a 12 mile loop yesterday over in the marin headlands, I will snap some more pics if anyone wants them. That bike is my other pride and joy aside from my car.

really cold there huh? People actually do go mountain biking in the snow, I know nokian makes studded tires for them lol.

I thought you really had the right idea going with your car when I seen that you got VX rims for it, but now I see that you were probably just too cheap to buy real rims.. I SEE NOW.

Actually I got the VX rims because they are 9lbs per rim, and had the lightwieghtness I wanted, while still looking like honda rims and not too flashy. My car isnt really rice if you compare to some other cars out there.

Anyhow, I will get another lx emblem or a 6th gen civic emblem next time I go to the junkyard. I also need the drivers side speaker grille (but I think mdnnccivicrcr is shipping me his) and I would like to acquire an integra shift knob.

Bottom line: Its all good, everyone just needs to cut out the hating / flaming around here ;) Your car is tight by the way.

Well, they're a good choice for a wheel.. I really wish I had a spare set around that I could throw on sometime. I've been looking, but no good deals.

Ya.. I took the emblem off the front of my hood and just covered it with a clear sticker with just letters on it to cover the holes.. It does the trick and it doesn't stand out as much as the big honda emblem. In my town there aren't many compacts (LOTS of muscle cars) and the sticker on the front of the car led a guy to think my car was a "quicksilver".. I don't think I laughed when I told him what it really is. Thats probably why I want my car to be so fast, there are so many muscle cars that I feel the urge to condend with in my town.. I've owned many of them, and a lot of guys know about me and my car too.. :)

Maybe my off the wall posts came at a wrong time on the board, I often don't even check many threads where its just people opions on something because I usually just don't care enough to want to know (when I could be learning something), but I just happened to hop in to a couple of discussions because I just said what I think and it was a lot different than what everyone else thinks. I hope everythings all good, its cool to talk to other people that are happy that we own 11 year old cars. :smoka:
