We're 2 Days from the launch of Call of Duty 4 for PC, PS3, and XB360. Now before I go into this I have one thing to say. I was never hardcore into the first person person shooter games until I downloaded the PC Single Player Demo for COD4. It rocked my world. PREORDERED at EBgames, might get it tomorrow night.

Infinity Ward's the company that makes the Call of Duty games for Activision games. They came to Activision saying they had a dream to make a great modern warfare game, but Activision said well right now we have the SOCOM series but we need a World War II game. So they made them and blew the fraggers away. Now they had their opportunity to make the ultra realistic, beautiful looking, and versatile shooter, Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. I joined some but I wanted to see if anyone in AF was interested. I played COD4 on my friend's PS3 and it was a ton of fun but I personally defected to Battlefield 2 for PC. Playing right now.

i got cod4 (for pc) and to be honest i got bored of the single player after about an hour. sure it was fun, but after a while i started getting those horrible memories of the mindless waves of onslaughting germans from cod3 while gangs of insurgents raped me with RPGs (which got kinda annoying). actually its a pretty decent game, i dont know why it started boring me. i'd probably play it online if i didnt download it.
