How much is it worth?

I have a 1975 Nova, four door sedan with 61K miles. Has the 262ci V8, runs really well. Body is in fair condition with surface rust in a few places, rusted through in a small spot on one quarter panel. The interior is marginal, the vinyl seats have split. With the exception of the few rust spots, the rest of the paint is in decent condition. I am the second owner with the original title and all the original receipts. How much is it worth?

From your description, without photos I would ballpark about $800-$900.
That 4.3 liter engine isn't one of the more widely appreciated sizes for some reason. Though parts are available for your car's interior and mechanicals, buying them and installing them to fix this one up can easily go above the highest market value for a 4-door. Doing the body panel replacement isn't a good investment for the same reasons.
Probably the best buyer (if you are interested in selling it) would be someone who would fix it up to the point of being safe and passing state inspection, and no further. This buyer is only interested in having an nostalgic car, not a cool looking old car. hope this helps answer your question. Good luck.
Anyone else with an estimate or opinion?

Please check the date of the last post in the thread and avoid posting in it if it beyond 3 months from the current date.
And to add to your comment, the number of 2 door cars available is dwindling every year. There is nothing wrong with a 4 door car from that era albeit it may be worth less to some people there is still a market for them to others.
