Hey guys I have a 2003 olds alero and I recently replaced the upper and lower intake manifold gaskets which is not and easy task. Well Ive got it all back together and it runs great and better yet no more leaks! Unfortunatly The air coming out of the blower when the temp gauge on the panel is set to hot is just the opposite, ive checked, double checked, and triple checked to make sure everything is connected properly. Anybody have any insight as to why this is happening, ive been driving it around for about an hour now and only notice a slight increase in temp. Jesse

Do you mean that when you set the temp on cold you get hot air, and vice versa? Or just that the air will not heat up when the temp is set to hot?
If the air will not get hot, you may have air in the coolant system. When you refilled the radiator, did you follow the recommended procedure?
If you have the 3.4, you must open the bleed valves while filling, or you will trap air. It also helps to have the heater on, to allow coolant to circulate through the heater core.

I have a "heat" issue and the more I read the more I think it has to do with air in my system. How do I go about "bleeding" the air out of my cooling system? (2001 3.4L)
