Opel's are not imported to USA so it is not possible to bring that Calibra over here. RHD, I would leave it that way.

Can I import RHD cars to USA? I know it's a bit of a nuisance to drive a RHD in USA but I can't get a good price in UK and I have so many good memories with that car.
What do I do?

Yes, you can import RHD cars to US but that Opel/Vauxhall is not one of them. They need to be approved by DOT and EPA, crash tested etc. No sense to bring it over, too much work and money involved.
BTW, Calibra is a beautiful car.

Go to the NHTSA website - www.nhtsa.dot.gov...
No right hand drive - the Opel is not substaincially similar to anything in the US...

Why bother, its money you could put into the tranny, or the engine. Plus, if you can't shift with your left, you should not own one:p I perfer shifting with my left.

by the way he has an r33 gtr converted to lhd still with an original looking dashboard and not a dash from another nissan model, just take note that skylines were never made in left hand drive so parts are not going to be from a skyline unless they can be modified. Otherwise another part would be used, i.e. rack and pinion steering. check it out!

LHD=the way its suppose to be
Not on a Skyline....Skyline makes NO RHD cars. So...RHD=The way it is supposed to be!
