1993 tercel dies

1993 Toyotatercl dies.?? last week service engine lights came on for few minuts and next day light came again and stys for while and next day light came on again and car start dieng evry time I stops car on red lights and after 2 minuts it starts again and evry time i stops car dies.?? now car start when cold and drive for while and dies and wait for few hours to start again. 1 st machenic chenge roter and distributer cap second just fix some adujustment and they guessing fule pum/Timing belt/Engine to cheng/ chenge battry/EGR Valve/ put some fule injeter cleaner to tank.?? and I'm confusse need help. Spark plugs and cable 2 months old.

Its probably your catalitic converter or some call it a cadlac converter. lol!

Come on man, (as funny as that is) hes got a problem.
Go through the basics first. Check your intake (filter, all the way to the manifold), What's your vaccum like? Check the lines off of the manifold for cracks, tears, disconnects and the like. Adjust your IAC (Ide Air Control Valve) see if the extra air at idle helps. Clean your plugs, remove them from the block and soak in mineral spirits for 2 hrs and air-blast dry (Wear eye protection). Odds are it's the IAC or Engine vaccum as i'm assuming you're talking about the car dying from Low-RPM Idle problems.
