I think the worst i have done is about 24mpg, and the best was about 35mpg
Its been a long time since i checked.
On average i would get about 550km(340miles) to a tank

My best is 31-32mpg on a 600 mile trip to and from Mississippi. My avg is 25 mpg. (1995 G20 w/auto)

My best so far has been 32 MPG (approx. 75% Highway and 25% City). City driving usually yields 26-28 MPG depending on how I drive. Still have not run all highway on a full tank yet.

When I do mostly in town driving (trips of 5-10 miles at most) with about a total of 50 miles on the tank that is high way, I get about 300 Miles on a tank and avarage somewhere around 22-24 miles per gallon. On a recent trip to Michigan I got 36 miles per gallon with a full car load of people (1994 G20 with 100K miles)

I normally average about 32mpg, although the highest I have got is a little over 42mpg... which I think you'll agree is quite impressive for a 2.0 litre engine :)

Note: This is imperial rather than US gallons - figures in US gallons will be lower...

Well, I've only been running my car for 2 weeks now... Before that it sat around getting re-built... I've been getting 26 mpg, but it is almost entirely city driving.... I've done a lot of sitting in traffic. :(

Wow.

I usually refill when my meter hits like... 220 miles travelled or so...

When i refill the meters at the pump say around 10-11 Gallons

I'm aware G20 tanks carry 15 and 7/8 Gallons...

WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY TANK?!?!!........

20MPG isn't good... maybe clogged fuel lines or something?
Old Spark Plugs?

Plus i think there's a problem with my fuel meter in my car.
Some oddball reason it never has the correct level of gas in my car (from my guess) - anyone else have this problem? Or a solution to get better milage?

I usually do city driving, but even then i should get 25MPG.

Sounds like your car is needing a very good tune up.
Plugs/filters timing etc

ricecube77
09-25-2001, 10:10 AM
Hmm.. just got a new oil filter and air filter.

Thinking. ... fuel filter and new plugs (mite as well stick in wiring then too)?

Timing was adjusted at 62000 mi
my car's now at 69800 mi...

Since then i've gotten an oil change, new oil filter, air filter, clutch job (with flywheel resurfacing), brake pads and i think thats it.
I got the infiniti 60k Mi fixit all thing....

Any suggestions?

you're not figuring your mpg right. i know b/c i've been trying to find mine for 2 or 3 tanks now. you have to drive the car till it's around 3/4 empty. then when you fill up note how many gallons you put in and reset your odometer. when you get back to that spot divide the 2 numbers and you have your mpg. if you want more info, i started a thread in maintanence about this thing so check that out.

next time you fill up reset your trip meter then when you go to fill up see how many gallans it takes to fill you tank back up take the number of miles drive and divide by the amount of gas it took you to fill it back up the number you get is your mpg

ricecube77

HI MATE in reply to your Q about MPG, I have found I get about 25 around town and as much as 44 on a run of 20miles or more.

I have run my 98 Primera GT on valvoline fully synthetic oil (synpower) since its 16000m service and always allow it to warm up before revin it past 3000rpm .Dont get me wrong I do give it a good blow out as well every now and then...............Recentley took it from central England where i live to Darmstat in central Germany in 11hours (this includes 1.5hrs on the ferry to france) and managed to get 37mpg at a steady 95mph all the way,and saw 140mph on the clock for 10mins or so with a full tank/luggage and four people in the car (WHAT AN ACE BIT OF KIT THESE PRIMERA/INFINITE ARE)

Tell me do the USA spec cars come with a multi function computer as the ones on the uk cars
have a fuel range and mpg setting. I found them to be dead accurate)

ricecube77
09-26-2001, 11:00 PM
Nope.
No electronic range meter. No computer.. no nothing.
Not on my 94 at least.
Or my friend's 92.

I'm thiking the P10's dont have one.. what about P11?

MORNING PHIL I'm not sure what mine is I think it's a P10 if the P11 is the new one that came out in the UK in 99/00.I wouldn't to dissapointed that your car doesn't have as many toys
because I bet you dont pay any where near what we have pay for our cars ie my 98 GT was
approx £18500 when new and now only worth approx £6750 after only 24000miles and 3 years.

I assume you aren't from the UK but your location isn't specified?

Heh. My wife reports getting about 5% better fuel mileage after the turbo.

When I drive it OTOH, I get about 10% worse fuel mileage. :D
