i will be in need of some new tires here in the next couple of months and i was wondering if any other town car owners have any advice on a tire or tires to say away from. i own a 92 town car. i live on the texas coast so i need something with decent wet and dry traction, snow is not an issue. i am also a college student so i can't afford anything over $100 a tire. any suggestions?

Let me get this right, you have a $400 to buy tires and you wanna get picky about it? I have had good tread life and wet traction out of michelin HydroEdge and X-One tires, but the best tire that I have ever used on the car was Goodyear Eagle RSA.

$400 is the absolute most i can spend, i would rather prefer something cheaper.

I like the kind that's round and holds air. All kidding aside you should be able to get some fairly decent new tires for around 70 bucks each. The cheeper tires will just wear out faster, so will the expencive high pro ones. I like BFG or Uniroyal always have good luck with those brands.
