I finally found my Stealth TT and it has a few issues I would like someone informed to shed some light on.
The cars misfires during deceleration if the car is in gear. It is missing the O2 sensor could this be the problem? Also the sport tour light keeps flashing. Anyone have any insight?

sport light is your ECS. check the connectors on the top of the strut-towers (under the plastic caps). If those all look good, check the connection to the control unit in the hatch area.

What year is the stealth? Do you have a check engine light on, if yes is it blinking or on steadily? Does it misfire or backfire?

You must mean backfire since the injectors are shut off on deceleration making it impossible to misfire. If the O2 sensor is missing, as in there's a hole in the downpipe/header where it should be, then that very well may be the problem.

Your right I mean backfire. And yes its missing completely. Well the Check engine light was off now its on and staying on. The sport-tour light started flashing about the same time. Thanks for the information. My stealth has a few problems but for $3600 I think I got a deal.

the ecs light, does it flash, or does it come one and stay on?
and wat yr is the tt? 3600 is pretty cheap. i though i got a deal at 8700. but i've had to put in a new ecu, new crank/cam sensor, and about to put in a new clutch(been the same way since i got it). all i have to say, if the only issues with ur car is the cel and ecs, damn u get off easy

It flashes. Its a 93 with 130k recent timing belt, alarm and a detachable sunroof. The red paint is faded so im getting it painted pearl white. It has no dings or dents but has a few scratches though. I been looking for a deal everyday for a few months before I found this one.I actually almost bought a couple for alot more which I told were in "mint" condition but when I went to see them they had major issues. One wouldnt start and another was spewing literally quarts of oil, its now being sold on ebay with an implied minor oil leak.

the paint part is a good idea...red is considered one of the most expensive or hardest colors to paint on a car, from what i've been told by people at body shops.
then all i have to say is good deal, and check the cap connections for lose wiring

Missing an o2 sensor will throw a check engine light, and this can cause backfiring, it's not a serious problem...just replace it. As stated before, it's backfiring, not misfiring.
