Hi,
I have a family members '03 accord that has a windshield leak. She had the windshield replaced two years ago and recently noticed a leak. Can someone tell me how to remove the windshield trim so I can reseal it? I believe it has some clips and may call for a special tool.

According to older Accord info, the molding clips and spacers are plastic and are glued to the body, and must be replaced after removal...you may want to consider before attempting if the newer ones are the same...

The windshield is glued to body with urathane rubber compound and it is almost impossible to seal leaks without removing the glass and re-installing. To find the leak, coat the outside perimeter with a soapy solution and then from the inside, direct an air stream at the perimeter (air hose with no more then 40 psi and no closer then 6 inches from the glass). Bubbles on the outside will pinpoint the leak.

Take the car back to the people who replaced the glass. Most if not all guarantee their work in these cases.
