Yes, they are interchangable however, the EVO (Electronic Variable Orifice) feature will not operate. You'll have to do some "creative plumbing" due to the difference in fittings though. You can also swap the EVO fitting from the old pump to the new pump.

The EVO system reduces power assist as vehicle speed increases to give the driver a better "feel" for the road. If you use a standard pump, as vehicle speed increases, the steering will feel "sloppy", (not nearly as responsive).
