Hey everybody, Im new here and had a few questions for you all. First off, Im 16, and would like to get an old muscle car to fix up. My question is, in your opinion, would it be better to get a car with an engine already in it, or get the 2 seperate? Thanks guys.

Welcome to AF, experience says it is cheaper to get the car with the engine.

:iagree:
As someone who has purchased cars with no engines and then installed engines and trannys in them for the last 20 years, I can say from experience it is usually better, (and cheaper) to purchase a car with everything intact. It also saves a lot of grief in the long run.
