This kit was started maybe 1 year ago, but I just got around to finishing it. I originally used the Scale Motorsport F2001 '2002' decals, but found that the M*rlb*r* decals on the airbox were too small, and it didn't look right at all. I ended up using the Tabu decals from HLJ which went on beautifully. It's a totally box stock build with Alclad polished aluminum for the rims and radiators, and Alclad chrome for the headers. I airbrushed the bright red with a mix of Tamiya TS49 Bright Red and TS36 Fluorescent Red much like my F310B, although it looks a bit darker. I think this is because I took the pictures around 5:15 PM local time.

Really clean build. I'm still trying to get to my F1-2000 and top studio set...this gives me alot of inspiration. Nicely done! One thing though, the seams on the inside of the exhaust pipes need cleaning, I know how deep they are from my last 2001 build! I ended up junking mine for thinned aluminum tubing which epoxied in beautifully. Again, nicely done:wink:

Awesome job. I Finished the very same kit about a month ago, and it's one of my favorite builds. Great look.
