Runs great but wont restart

1994 GMC K1500 sierra 4x4 5.7 V8 auto.
101K miles.
It starts up great but once I drive for a bit and shut it off, it wont restart. it turns over, battery is full, just replaced the fuel pump and filter thinking that was it. the condition is worsening the longer I let it go. Now, it dies while driving. I pulled up to a red light and it refused to start, same story, full battery etc. I dont know if it could be the coil, plugs, wires, distributor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
