do i HAVE to have the little hose that goes from the valve cover to the intake hose? right now im just using a mini air filter zip-tied onto the outlet for the hose of the valve cover.....would this cause my engine to run funny? because it is and i cant figure out why....

i doubt your engine is running funny because of the breather on the valve cover, because i have breathers and it runs perfect, but just to be sure, try and put a rubber/silicone hose from the valve cover to the intake just to make sure.. if u still have engine problems, you know its not that..... :)

slammed, dude, please take the breather off of your intake pipe. that is is totally useless. you only need the breather on your valve cover.

The breather on the intake tube can't hurt though.. maybe you might get the tiniest increase in airflow... If it's already on there, you should just leave it there.

air filter on the intake tube wont matter, however if you take it off it mat whistle when it sucks air in under acceleration...just ta let you know...
